Terms and conditions
Effective Date: 22nd May 2025
Thanks for visiting Super Dog Training Academy. By booking services with me or using this website, you’re agreeing to the terms below. They’re here to make sure everything’s clear, fair, and safe—for you, your pet, and me.
If you have any questions, just get in touch.
What These Terms Cover
“I”, “me” or “my” means Fiona McLoughlin trading as Super Dog Training Academy.
“You” or “your” means the lovely human booking dog walking or pet sitting.
“Services” means the care we’ve agreed—dog walking or cat/small animal sitting.
About Me
I run Super Dog Training Academy as a sole trader here in North East Edinburgh. I provide reliable, thoughtful pet care—mainly dog walking and cat sitting—with a big focus on trust, consistency, and communication.
Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings:
All bookings are confirmed directly with me by email, phone, or WhatsApp.
New clients will need to complete a registration and consent form before we start.
Cancellations:
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.
Short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hours) may still be charged in full.
If I ever need to cancel due to illness, an emergency, or extreme weather, I’ll let you know ASAP and rearrange where possible.
What I Need From You
By booking, you agree to:
Share up-to-date info about your pet’s health, behaviour, and care needs
Let me know if anything changes (e.g. new meds, signs of stress)
Ensure your pet is microchipped and tagged, and vaccinated unless we’ve discussed otherwise
Provide access to your home (keys or entry instructions) if needed
Tell me if anyone else will be in the house during my visits
Behaviour & Safety
You confirm that your dog or cat is safe to care for and suitable for one-to-one handling. If there’s any history of aggression, reactivity, or unpredictable behaviour, I just ask that you tell me upfront.
I reserve the right to pause or stop services if I ever feel that safety is at risk—for your pet, for me, or for others.
In Case of Emergency
If something urgent happens while your pet is in my care, I’ll contact you straight away. If I can’t reach you, I’ll act in your pet’s best interest and get help from your vet or the nearest available provider.
You agree to cover any emergency vet costs that come up during our booking.
Access & Key Handling
If I need access to your home, you’re trusting me with that responsibility—and I don’t take it lightly.
Keys are always labelled securely (no names or addresses) and kept safe. I’ll return them at any time on request, or when you no longer need my services.
Pet Photos
With your permission, I may take a few photos and/or videos of your pet while they’re in my care. I sometimes share these on social media or my website, but I’ll always blur out personal info like name tags.
If you’d rather keep your pet off camera, just let me know.
Payments
I’ll email you an invoice after services.
Payment is due within 5 days by bank transfer unless we agree otherwise.
If payment is more than 14 days late, a late payment fee may be added.

I take your privacy seriously. Your personal info is handled in line with UK GDPR and outlined fully in my Privacy Policy. I’ll never share your details unless you’ve agreed or the law requires it.
